Tropical Storm Fay

Our big storm news is there was a snake in our house. It was by the porch door and my suspicion is it was in the grill I wheeled from the porch through the house to the garage. Not sure though. I think its a Yellow Rat Snake. This is the closest looking thing to what we had that I found on the web. The other snakes that look like the one in our house are water snakes which doesn't make as much sense to me. We live next to an empty lot with trees and vegetation so this makes sense. I ushered it out (while freaked out mind you) with our broom. No pictures in the heat of the moment. Our neighbor had a weak tree that fell on our fence, but another part of that tree already fell this year. Not too exciting. The snake frightenly exciting! I'm afraid of any electric chords in the dark now.
